TWO Malvern women have been inspired to become British Cycling Breeze Ride Leaders after taking part in a recent Couch to 50km programme.
Megan Sherman and Ally Pemberton completed the cycling scheme organised by Malvern Hills District Council earlier this year.
Since the programme, Meg and Ally have taken part in a number of activities, including a 100km bike ride.
The pair were both successfully trained as Breeze Ride Leaders and will be leading their first ride with social cycling group Women on Wheels next Sunday.
Instructor Rachel Vann said: “I never envisaged that any participants of this programme would progress so much.
“It’s amazing to see many of our graduates out riding regularly with the local social cycling group, Women on Wheels.
“But to see Ally and Meg progress as British Cycling Breeze Ride Leaders is remarkable.”
