A MALVERN resident has put pen to paper and created a modern play exploring the issue of family conflict.

Heather Striplin, currently studying at Manchester University, has turned playwright to picture the tension between three sisters when the youngest decides to break away from restrictions imposed on her by her family.

It features the West Malvern girl, along with fellow residents Billie Townson and Neve McNally.

It can be seen on Friday (September 4) from 7pm at the West Malvern Village Hall. Tickets are £3.50 and can be bought on the door.
