Craig Gibbons 10th Aug, 2018

AUDITIONS are now open for youngsters to take part in Malvern Theatre Players’ upcoming dramatisation of a popular Edith Nesbit novel.

The Railway Children will be on show at the Coach House Theatre, Grange Road, this Christmas and there are parts for young people aged from seven to 15.

Play director Jan Greig is holding auditions on Monday, August 20 and Tuesday, August 28 from 2pm to 4pm at the Coach House Theatre.

Made famous by the iconic movie starring Jenny Agutter and Bernard Cribbins, the much-loved tale follows an Edwardian city family who are forced to move to The Three Chimneys, a house near the railway in the depths of the Yorkshire countryside.

There, they soon find new friendships, unexpected adventures and discover a secret which will change their lives forever.

Call the Coach House Theatre on 01684 569011 or Jan on 01684 566602 for more.
