Eight police officers including a search dog raided a home on The Glade in the Pickersleigh ward to execute a drugs warrant.

On arrival police saw two women and four women before conducting a search of the property where they found a white substance – believed to be cocaine.

Officers also seized contents linked to drug dealing such as cash, mobile phones and scales.

One of the men was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply. He has since been bailed while inquiries continue.

Local police told the Observer said they had received many complaints from residents in the area, especially from young families about blatant drugs activity from the property.

In a statement Sergeant Grant Fraser from the Worcestershire Priorities Team said he and his team will always respond to concerns of drug misuse.
