A 52-YEAR-OLD man who was arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman’s body was found in Malvern has been released under investigation.
At 11.55am on Sunday police attended an address in Apple Orchard Close.
The body of a 46 year old woman was found, her death is currently being treated as unexplained.
A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder but was released under investigation on Tuesday.
Supt Tom Harding said: “We know local residents will be concerned and I would like to reassure them this appears to be an isolated incident and we do not believe there to be any risk to the wider public.
“There will continue to be a police presence in the area over the coming days as officers carry out enquiries to establish the circumstances around the woman’s death. Officers are also there to offer reassurance to local residents.”
