A MAN was knocked unconscious during a robbery in Ledbury.

The 49-year-old was walking along a footpath off Woodleigh Road, about 7.15pm on Tuesday, September 1, when he was approached by two men.

He was hit with a weapon, believed to be a baseball bat, and while he was unconscious the men stole his black sunglasses worth £250 and his wallet containing £40.

Both offenders were described as white and are thought to be Eastern European.

One was about 25 years old, with blonde hair in a skinhead style, around 5ft 10ins tall and of a slim build.

The second man was around 30, with dark hair and was bigger and taller than the first man.
