Man who died in Cotheridge car fire is named

THE MAN who died in a car fire in Cotheridge has been named by police.

The body of Neil Parkinson, who was 66 and from Clifton-Upon-Teme, was found on Saturday (December 12) in a layby on Ankerdine Road.

West Mercia Police launched a murder investigation and appealed for witnesses or anyone with any information or dash cam footage to come forward.

Mark Chilman, 51, from Pencombe, Bromyard has been charged with murder and will appear in Worcester Crown Court on January 15.
