A MAN who spat in the face of a police officer in Malvern has been jailed.
The officer was also kicked in the shin during the attack which happend on July 6.
The offence is considered particularly dangerous during the Covid-19 pandemic because of a potential spread of the virus.
The man was sentenced by the courts to 26 weeks in prison.
