VOLUNTEERS are desperately needed to help with the popular summer festival Mappfest.
People are urgently needed to assist setting up and taking down the three-day spectacular which runs from Friday, June 16 to Monday, June 19.
The event, which is now in its eighth year and is celebrated by thousands, is also in need of marshals and general help over the course of the weekend.
Organiser Andy Mapp said: “Without help this festival will not go ahead. No experience is necessary and anybody is more than welcome to join us.
“Mappfest is unique, totally free and through the power of music we manage to raise thousands of pounds for local charities.
“Time is creeping up and we need help. We are now in our eighth year and we really want to make it special.”
