A SERIES of public meetings are set to be held to present detailed plans of the controversial cable car project.
Malvern for All Limited, the company behind the scheme, will host the events from October onwards after a successful meeting of the Tourism and League Group of The Worcestershire Business Board in July.
It was hosted by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and Malvern for All highlighted all aspects of the project, with particular reference to the issue of access to the summit of The Worcestershire Beacon.
A Malvern for All spokesman said: “We are gratified that so many organisations supporting the less mobile and disabled are supporting the cable car project and its equal treatment of all.”
The company added the summit station featured on its website had been described as ‘world class’ and ‘iconic’.
A Malvern Hills Conservators spokeswoman added: “To build the proposed cable car would be unlawful under the Malvern Hills Conservators Acts.”
The meetings will start with the Business Expo at the Three Counties Showground on October 8.
