A METEOROLOGIST who has been studying the climate of the Malvern Hills for more than 40 years has published his findings in a booklet, writes Ben Tolley.
Frank Hill has been able to gather this information thanks to the help of the local community which enabled him to install rain gauges on their land during the 1970s to 1980s, with some still in use today.
He also has temperature and rainfall data going back as far as 1912.
Climatology of the Malverns also details fog, snow and thunder.
Frank said: “As the weather and climate are becoming increasingly more important in the modern day this will allow us to track the changes and make people become more aware of the dangers of climate change.”
