CHASE School students got the chance to take part in mock trials at Worcester Magistrates’ Court.
The team of pupils have been working with magistrates Mrs Silvester, Mrs Smith and Mrs Moate after school every week since January to learn the roles of defence lawyer, prosecution lawyer, clerk, witness, defendant, magistrate and court usher.
Mrs Smith and Mrs Silvester accompanied the students for the mock trials against Blessed Edward Oldcorne and Tudor Grange.
A Chase School spokesperson said: “This was a fantastic opportunity for students to experience courtroom drama and get a clearer idea about the role of a citizen in the justice system.”
