WITH conditions still poor from the weekend’s severe snowfalls, schools across the Malvern Hills district have been forced to close for a second day.
As the temperatures are set to drop considerably tonight, leaving plenty of ice on the roads and paths, closures are happening to keep children, parents and staff safe.
Below is a list of schools in the Malvern Hills district which have confirmed they will be fully closed tomorrow (Tuesday):

Callow End CE Primary School, Malvern – “School only open for those pupils that can get in safely. Staggered start from 8:30 to 10:00 am. No pre-school or Early Birds due to staffing issues.”
Eldersfield Lawn CE Primary School, Upton – “No Before School Club. School will have a staggered opening from 9am until 10am and finish at the usual time. No school uniform, pupils should dress for OUTSIDE breaktimes.”
Rushwick CE Primary School, Malvern – “A staggered start is in operation with registers open until 10am. We are only expecting those who can travel in safely. Please wear suitable winter clothing. School website has further information.”
