Malvern Editorial 3rd Aug, 2020   0

AS EAT Out to Help Out gets under way, figures show more than 70 pubs, cafes and restaurants across the Malvern Hills District have signed up to the scheme.

The list includes such places as The Picnic Box, Terrace on the Hill, Red Lion Inn, The Swan Hotel and more.

The offer will run each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from today until August 31 August on all food and drink (except alcohol).

Diners in get 50 per cent off food and drink (a maximum saving of £10 per person) and there is no minimum spend.

The discount will be automatically applied to the bill and there is also no limit to the number of times it can be used each day.

Businesses signed up the scheme will have a sticker or poster in the window.

Coun Sarah Rouse, Portfolio Holder for Economic Development and Tourism at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “It is wonderful to see so many restaurants, cafes and pubs signed up to the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme across the district.

“It is a great way of attracting customers and supporting our local businesses so they can thrive once again”.
