A MOTORIST has been stopped and cautioned by police in Malvern after driving a vehicle on cloned plates.
West Mercia Police’s Operational Patrol Unit successfully interecepted a cloned vehicle linked to rural crime in Worcester and Malvern.
The vehicle was stopped before officers searched the car (pictured) and the occupants. The driver who lacked both a license and insurance, admitted awareness of the false plates but claimed the vehicle belonged to a friend.
Enquiries are ongoing but the vehicle was seized and tickets were issued to the driver for various driving offences. The occupants were also warned of the consequences of driving such vehicles.
