MOUNTAIN bikers have been invited to attend a conservation project to improve access along one of the busier bridleways on the Malvern Hills tomorrow morning (Saturday).
The Malvern Hills Trust, formerly the Conservators, will be working to improve sight-lines and the width of the path for visitors by clearing back some of the overhanging vegetation.
The path also runs near to one of the most important habitats for the grayling butterfly so the work will also benefit Worcestershire’s rarest butterfly.
Attendees to the event can chat to Trust staff and find out more about the Mountain Biking Campaign which will be launched in the Spring.
Anyone who wants to attend should meet at the North Quarry car park at 10am.
