MALVERN parents and parents-to-be can bag themselves a bargain at a clothes market in town this weekend.
The NCT Nearly New Sale will be held at The Dome, Imperial Road, from 10.30am until 12.30pm on Saturday.
Profits from the products sold go back to the NCT Malvern Hills branch so it can continue its vital work supporting parents in the district.
Hannah Hollick, branch co-ordinator for NCT Malvern Hills, said: “Coming to one of our Nearly New Sales is a double whammy – parents get pre-loved baby bargains and they help to fund the branch’s services for other mums and dads too.
“This means we can run groups such as our Baby Latte and Mini Explorer sessions, where parents get together, support each other, meet our volunteers and exchange helpful tips.
“Socialising in this way can be really beneficial by reducing the social isolation some new parents feel and helping them become more confident mothers and fathers.
“We’re also really keen to do more work on our baby bundles scheme.
“The bundles are available free of charge to mums to be, and families of newborns in need.
“They a range of items useful in the first few weeks after giving birth, as well as baby clothes, toys, books, and information about NCT groups and activities.”
