DOZENS of new jobs have been created in Malvern after a new Premier Inn opened in the town.
Up to 25 jobs will be made available at the Townsend Way site after the budget hotel officially welcomed its first customers last Monday (September 7).
Coun Julian I’Anson, Mayor of Malvern, was on hand to cut the ribbon with the Premier Inn staff.
Coun I’Anson said: “It was a pleasure to open such a well-run hotel with friendly and efficient staff.
“It is a tribute to Malvern that Premier Inn has selected our town to add to their portfolio, I am sure it will do very well.”
Julia Marshall, Premier Inn new openings manager, added: “It is very exciting to open a Premier Inn in the picturesque setting of Malvern.
“We have been looking to open a Premier Inn in Malvern for some time and it is great to officially open our first hotel in the town.”
