A NEW online service has been created to help residents in the Malvern Hills district to find out key information about where they live.
Launched by the district council, My Local Area allows people to find out a range of useful information.
Details include current and historic planning applications, bin collection days, details of councillors, nearby hospitals, leisure centres and recycling points within the district’s boundary.
People can also carry out property searches for listed buildings, conservation areas and tree preservation orders near to their home.
Coun Jeremy Owenson, portfolio holder for policy, localism and governance on Malvern Hills District Council, said: “My Local Area is an extremely useful tool that will provide residents with a variety of information all in one place, making it quicker and easier for them to access what they need and raising awareness of what’s available locally.”
The service is available by clicking My Local Area on the homepage of Malvern Hills District Council’s website.
