A BRAND new spring fair will soon be celebrating the joys of the upcoming season whilst raising vital funds for a Malvern school.
The fair, organised by Hanley Swan Primary School’s Parents and Friends Association (PFA), takes place from 10am to 2pm at the Memorial Hall, Upton Upon Severn (Saturday, April 12).
The event is free entry and includes over 20 craft and gift stalls from local businesses, refreshments, hook a duck, a raffle, teddy tombola, hair tinsel and more.
The PFA organise and host a variety of activities throughout the year to help raise money for the school, the event will be the PFA’s first ever Spring Fair.
Jenni Brotherton, Chair of Hanley Swan Primary School PFA said: “We are really looking forward to our first Spring Fair event, it’s going to be a fun day with lots on offer for the whole community, everyone is welcome.”
Proceeds will be donated to Hanley Swan Primary School, which will help to fund educational trips, school equipment, learning resources, and much more.
Mr Pratley, Headteacher of Hanley Swan Primary School said: “We encourage people to pop along to the fair which will not only help to raise funds for the school but also support local businesses.”
