A NEW tourism website has been launched to showcase Malvern and the attractions it has to offer, writes Ben Workman.

The Visit The Malverns website has been revamped and highlights all the things for families, visitors and dog walkers to do across the district, including walks and outdoor areas that aims to boost mental wellbeing.

More walks and routes are being added all the time, with walking calendars and improved accessibility functions for people with disabilities.

The increase of staycations over the past year has led to an increase of 37 per cent in traffic on the website. The Visit The Malverns site is on course to receive more than 400,000 visits this year with over 1million page views in total.

Coun Daniel Walton, Malvern Hills District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Economy and Tourism, said: “Our new website has lots of ideas and inspiration for great days out, places to eat and high-quality accommodation.

“It’s easy to use and a great showcase for everything our district has to offer.”
