A JUNIOR football team from Malvern is ‘over the moon’ to receive new training tops from a leading national company.
Newtown Sports Juniors under-11s will proudly sport the name CSG on their tops thanks to sponsorship from the specialist waste management company which has regional depots in Worcester and Pershore.
Team manager Nick Hayes-Wilson said: “Our charter-standard community club prides itself on providing the highest quality football experience for young members.
“The team has enjoyed a fantastic season, culminating in the Mercian boys football league final last Saturday at Malvern Town FC.
“We didn’t quite manage to lift the trophy, but it was an exciting 3-1 game.
“The players were ‘over the moon’ to run out wearing their professional-looking new training tops, helping to inspire them to play their best in the match. We are very grateful to CSG for their support.”
Nick is also a CSG tanker driver, based out of the Pershore depot.
The company is the UK’s leading supplier of domestic, commercial and industrial waste management solutions.
Dave Gailor, group operations manager for CSG added: “As a family-owned business, we take our corporate social responsibilities very seriously and actively engage with charitable organisations, schools and voluntary groups across the country.
“Employees are encouraged to make the company aware of worthwhile local projects, and Newtown Sports Junior FC certainly deserved our support.
“We wish the club and its players every success.”
