TRAINING providers and employers in Malvern are being encouraged to put forward nominees for this year’s Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards.
Nominations are now opened for the awards, which aims to recognise some of the county’s most successful apprenticeships.
A total of 13 awards will be up for grabs for apprentices and employers, which will be presented at West Midland Safari Park on the evening of November 12.
Last year, BBC’s The Apprentice star Nick Hewer hosted the event which saw six apprentices, five employers and one school pick up awards in front of an audience of about 360 people.
Gary Woodman, executive director at the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, which is organising the event along with Worcestershire Business Central and Worcestershire County Council, said: “This year’s awards will once again recognise excellence and I would urge everyone to take this opportunity to nominate an apprentice or an employer for these awards at the earliest opportunity.”
People have got until May 31 to make their nomination. To download a nomination form and for more information, visit www.worcsapprenticeships.org.uk which also includes a wealth of information for those seeking apprenticeship opportunities or looking to employ an apprentice.
