EIGHT North Worcestershire artists – known as the North Worcestershire Artist Collective – are joining forces for a second collaborative art exhibition at The Artery Studios in Worcester.

Their eclectic mix of instinctive, expressive, abstract and representational work combines to create an exhibition of bold and colourful contemporary pieces.

The group formed in 2022 after meeting through Worcestershire Open Studios and has gone from strength to strength.

The eight artists, who share a deep passion for all things arty are : Jane Aston, Michelle Doidge, Natasha Giles, Edwina Mackinnon, Julie Marcus, Juliet May, Suzanne Nicholl and Amanda Pardoe.

More than 100 original pieces will be on display at the exhibition and each of the artists has their own individual technique and style so there will be something to suit all tastes.

The artists work in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, pastels, watercolour, inks and digital art.

Meet the artists and discover what inspires them and the techniques they employ.

They will be more than willing to share their love and enthusiasm for their own art and for the collective work of the group.

All of the original artwork, along with prints and cards, will be available to purchase.

The exhibition is taking place at The Artery Studios, Arch 28/29, Croft Walk, Worcester WR1 3BD and runs from Friday (October 27) to Wednesday (November 1). Entry is free

Michelle Doidge, one of the artists taking part said: “We are all so excited to be working together once again and exhibiting in such a fantastic venue.

“The Artery is the perfect backdrop for our eclectic mix of bold and contemporary pieces and we look forward to welcoming all of our visitors during the six days.
