TIME is running out for voluntary groups and organisations to apply for grants from Malvern Town Council.
The small grants of up to £500 are offered on a one-off basis to support a project, event, activity or purchase of equipment.
Large grants for amounts more than £500 are available to organisations which provide a significant service to the community.
This year’s budget includes £5,000 for small grants and £10,000 for large grants.
Recent grant recipients include St Richard’s Hospice, the Second Malvern Scout Group, West Mercia Police Cadets, Malvern Youth and Community Trust, Malvern Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades, Priory Bowling Club, The Chase School and more.
A town council spokesperson said: “So far we have not received many enquiries for the current year’s scheme and would like to remind everyone there is still time to submit an application.”
The deadline for applications is 12pm on Friday, August 31.
Applications will then be assessed by the authority’s policy and resources committee next month.
