NUMBER plates have been stolen from a vehicle in Upton-upon-Severn prompting a police appeal for information.
West Mercia Police are investigating the the theft of the number places from a vehicle at a property on Tewkesbury Road, Upton-upon-Severn.
The theft occurred between 6pm on Friday, January 24 and 2.45pm on Monday, January 27. It appears that thieves are taking number plates from all makes and models of vehicles.
The force want to hear from anyone who may information relating to the theft and have provided some advice to help motorists reduce the risks of having their number plates stolen.
Advices includes parking in busy and well lit areas, using safee car parks with CCTV where possible, parking near building entrances or in locked garages or secured spaces, and installing anti-theft number plate screws which cannot be removed.
