A MALVERN choir for young voices is holding an open rehearsal this Friday, May 19.
‘Bring a Friend Friday’ is being held by Young Chorale which started in September for singers aged between seven and 11.
Friday’s event starts at 6pm at Holy Trinity Church, Link Top – where the choir usually rehearses – and will last for up to an hour.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome – those wanting to try-out can just turn up.
Although it is a choir that meets in church, Young Chorale is a choir for the community and its singers come from across the whole Malvern area.
Charles Pavey, who is in charge of the choir, said: “The choir is a very likeable and lively group of both boys and girls.
“They sing very well together and make a very full sound.
“Its first public performances have been extremely well received and the choir can justifiably aim to increase its size beyond the 12 original members who founded it eight months ago.”
