THERE will be plenty of fresh local produce when The Great Malvern Farmers’ Market returns to its winter indoor venue this Saturday, February 18.
The popular event takes place between 9am and 2pm at the Lyttleton Rooms on Church Street.
Among the items on offer will be fruit, vegetables, salads, bread, cheese, meat and other tasty treats.
Traders will include baker Peter Cooks, greengrocer Styans (fruit and veg), Lightwood (cheeses), Yum Sweet Treats (cakes and fudge) and many more.
Coun Daniel Walton, Malvern Hills District Council’s portfolio holder for tourism and economic development, said: “It’s great to see the market returning next weekend, and the temporary indoor venue will allow traders to continue to share their produce even if the weather conditions are poor.
“The market also gives residents and visitors a great opportunity to support and shop local.”
