A POIGNANT ‘Unknown Tommy’ has taken pride of place outside Malvern Police Station ahead of Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
It is one of six statues made by The British Ironwork Centre in Shropshire and since it was installed it has been covered in poppies to remember the fallen.
The statue was organised by Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion who is inviting people to a special Remembrance service taking place at West Mercia Police’s headquarters at Hindlip Hall tomorrow from 10.45am.
