POLICE have identified the man whose body was found in the River Severn in Upton last week.
Sean Begley, aged 48, had attended the Upton Blues Festival on Friday, July 21.
He was last seen at about 2am on Saturday, July 22 on the bridge near to the steps entering the camp site.
His body was found at 1.45pm last Tuesday and his next of kin have been informed.
Sean’s death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward who may have seen or been in contact with Sean between Friday, July 21 and Tuesday, July 25.
Anyone with information should call the police on 101 and quote incident number 365S of July 25.
