POLICE are investigating an incident in Kempsey on Saturday when a man was acting suspiciously in the back garden of a property.
It happened around 5.40pm on Saturday at the home in Kings Hill.
The man was around 6ft tall, of slim build and was wearing a black hoody and black bottoms.
He was scared off by the residents’ dog and promptly left the garden.
Police say the man’s intentions were unknown but he was paying attention to the shed in the garden.
Anyone with information or having experienced a similar situation should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Officers have also urged people who see anything suspicious to report it straight away and to call 999 if a crime is in process.
