POLICE officers from Malvern Safer Neighbourhood Team have recovered a guitar stolen from a town homeless man.
An appeal was launched earlier in the week for information after the instrument was stolen on Monday (April 25).
Officers have now tracked down the suspect, recovered the guitar and returned it to its rightful owner.
Marcin Przechowski, aged 38, of Pickersleigh Road, Malvern was arrested and charged with theft this morning.
He has been bailed to return to Worcester Magistrates’ Court on June 16.
Mr Przechowski was identified by a member of the public after viewing the CCTV footage released.
Officers posted the above picture on Twitter and joked the story had ‘struck a chord with the local community’.
