Police release CCTV of the car they believe struck a man in his 70s in a Malvern hit and run

POLICE have released the above CCTV picture of the vehicle police believe struck a man in his 70s in Malvern.

It happened at 5.30pm on January 27 on the Abbey Road.

The pedestrian was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital after suffering serious injuries to his leg.

He has since left and is now at home in a stable condition.




Officers believe a silver Ford Fiesta with a 2005 number plate was involved in the incident.

PC Hughes said: “We are keen to speak to any passers-by, or motorists who had driven down the road around the time of the incident.


This will have been extremely traumatic for the victim who is fortunately now back at home recovering.

“We take these incidents very seriously and urge anyone with information to come forward.”
