POLICE are renewing their appeal to find a missing man who was last seen in Malvern.

Officers are trying to find Matthew Bone after reports suggested he may be in the Withington area of Herefordshire.

Matthew is originally from Portsmouth but is known to have travelled up to the West Midlands recently.

He enjoys walking and was thought to have been in the Malvern Hills area on Thursday, March 8 before spending time in Callow End on the morning of Friday, March 9.

The 26-year-old had not been seen or heard from since and officers believed he may be sleeping rough or may have been offered accommodation.

Matthew is described as white, around 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, with brown hair and bluey/grey coloured eyes.

It is not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Matthew’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

Officers are urging people to check any outbuildings or sheds in their gardens as they try to locate Matthew.

Anyone who sees Matthew or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 410S of March 112 or the Missing People Charity on 116 000
