SEARCH and rescue teams have returned to the River Teme near Powick bridge as the hunt for a missing 72-year-old woman carries on.

Members of West Mercia Police as well as fire crews returned to the scene this morning (Thursday) where Leung (Mary) Yepp was last spotted.

A spokeswoman for West Mercia Police said: “Police are continuing to search for information to help find missing local woman Leung (Mary) Yapp.”

Police began their hunt for Mrs Yapp earlier this month after she went missing from the Malvern area on November 18.

Mrs Yapp is described as being of Chinese origin, 5ft 2 inches tall, with greying black hair cut short into a bob style.

Anyone with information should call the police on 1o1 or the Missing People charity (www.missingpeople.org.uk) on 116 000.
