ILLEGAL tobacco and cigarettes were seized when police and Trading Standard officers raided shops in Malvern Link this morning.
A detection dog was used to track down the illicit products which had been hidden at one of the premises.
The business owners are now facing prosecution by Worcestershire Trading Standards.
Illegal products can include counterfeit tobacco which is illegally manufactured and some genuine cigarettes which are smuggled into the UK without any duty paid.
The raids followed information passed on to officers by members of the public.
Police said: “It is thanks to reports from local people that we were able to act and seize this tobacco so thank you.”
