MALVERN residents have been warned to be on their guard after reports of Nottingham Knockers operating in the area.
Officers received numerous calls about the callers in the Ripple area
Nottingham Knockers are cold callers who try to con residents into buying second rate goods, such as cleaning products, for over-inflated prices.
They often use fake back stories, such as they are on a reformed prisoner scheme to make the buyers think they are helping a good cause.
Malvern Police Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) said it was investigating and urged anyone who had received similar callers or anyone with information to call them on 101.
