THE HUGELY popular ‘Washington Whirligig’ will take to the stage for the next Malvern Jazz, Blues and Swing Club night.
The band will play between 8pm and 10.30pm (including interval) next Sunday, February 6, at The Cube.
The club has already had a great start to 2022 with top singing star Janice Williamson having performed this month.
The club were able to feature her during a short break in a hectic touring schedule, and the evening was enjoyed by a large appreciative audience.
Janice is now back on tour as the principal artist in the much acclaimed production ‘Rush – a Jamaican Journey’ appearing at theatres throughout the UK.
Organiser Len Thwaites commented “It was great to have Janice with us, we feel so fortunate that she could fit us in to her busy programme.
“Looking ahead to our next session, we’re delighted to bring “Washington Whirligig” to Malvern, as they are one of the top headlining acts at Jazz festivals both here and abroad.
“They are a wonderfully entertaining band, and play everything from early classic Jazz right through to swinging mainstream.”
Doors open at 7pm and admission is £10 cash on the door.
