THE AWARD-WINNING Powick Community Choir is on the search for new members.
It is soon to embark on preparations for its renown Christmas concerts at Stanbrook Abbey and the choir is suggesting people take part in the performance rather than coming along to listen.
The 60-strong mixed four part choir attracts singers from far and wide across Worcestershire.
Musical Director Tom Wells said: “It maybe that you once sang in your school choir all those years ago or perhaps you have sung in an adult choir since.
“Maybe you have simply found yourself singing in the car or in the shower.
“Whatever it is that draws you to want to sing, why not follow that instinct and do something about it.”
There are no formal auditions or voice trials.
