FAMILIES across Worcestershire will find out today which primary school their children will be enrolled to this September.
A huge 98 per cent of the county’s pupils received an offer from one of their top three choices, according to Worcestershire County Council.
And the authority said nine out of 10 children will be starting at their first choice of school.
This year the county council received 6,088 primary school applications and 2,638 middle school applications.
Sarah Wilkins, director of education at Worcestershire Children First, said: “We aim to make the milestone moment of starting school as smooth as possible for parents and students across the county.
“It is fantastic that so many of Worcestershire’s children will be starting in one of their preferred schools in September.”
