A MAN has been arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of several thefts from shops.
The 54-year-old was held after being spotted by Malvern Police on the 44 bus on Madresfield Road.
Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Kevin Tudge of the Pickersleigh and Chase Safer Neighbourhood Team who covers the Barnards Green, Elgar Avenue and Poundbank area was able to follow the bus.
The man was seen getting off the bus in Barnards Green and other officers attended to make the arrest.
Malvern Police works hard to help support Malvern retailers and will continue to act swiftly in dealing with suspects.
The man is one of multiple suspects that PCSO Tudge has helped to catch and bring into custody in recent months.
