A SELECTION of the best modern jazz and swing talent will be coming to Malvern over the Easter weekend.

The Malvern Jazz Weekend is set to take place on Good Friday (April 3) and Saturday (April 4) at venues which include The Red Lion, The Great Malvern Hotel, Oliver’s Wine Bar, The Belle Vue Delicatessen, The Foley Arms and outdoors on Belle Vue Island.

A number of heavyweight players make up the line-up with the likes of Bryan Corbett, Dom Franks, Dutch Lewis and Trevor Emeny all take to the stage.

Coun Phil Grove, portfolio holder for economic development and tourism, said: “We hope to see plenty of people in town to enjoy this festival of free jazz music.




“We are really lucky to have such amazing artists playing in Malvern and we expect it to give a boost to our local retailers and to tourism in the town, and it is a great way for us to begin our Easter celebrations.”
