A NEW choir for seven to 12 year olds is starting in Malvern in September and all are invited.
Called Young Chorale, it is a choir for young singers who would like to have a real mix of music to sing.
There will be new songs to learn as well as songs that many will have heard before.
The venture is being set up by musicians at Holy Trinity Church, Link Top / North Malvern, Malvern, where the singers will meet to rehearse on Friday evenings (6pm to 6.45pm.).
Charles Pavey, the director of music at Holy Trinity, said: “Although it is a choir that meets in church it is a choir for the community.
“It is being created for young people from across the Malvern area whether or not they have sung lots before.
“If you have a willing voice please get in touchand be part of a choir for today and the future.”
After a period of rehearsing together the singers will then have the opportunity to sing at concerts, services and other events.
