REVEALED - This year's Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday parades in Malvern and Tenbury Wells

PEOPLE across Malvern Hills district will gather this weekend to remember those who died in the two World Wars and other conflicts.

On Saturday, November 11, there will be an Armistice Cross Laying Service at Great Malvern Priory Church at 10.40am.

Then on Remembrance Sunday, November 12, there will be a special service at Great Malvern Priory Church at 10am. This will be followed by a parade down to Great Malvern Library War

Memorial for a Wreath Laying Service at 11am.

Tenbury Wells

In Tenbury, the parade will assemble at the market (formerly Brightwells) at 10am before marching to St Mary’s Church where a wreath laying ceremony will take place at 11am. This will be followed by two-minute silence. After the church service, the parade retraces its route with the salute being taken by the Mayor, outside the Regal Cinema.

On Armistice Day – Saturday, November 11, the branch of the Tenbury Wells Royal British Legion organises the two minutes silence preceded by the playing of The Last Post in Teme Street, outside the Regal Cinema, at 11am.
