MALVERN Rotary Club are set to host a series of fund-raising events in the coming weeks to help relief work in Nepal.
The group has already donated £2,000 to the cause, from its Club Charity Funds and members contributions, to help provide shelter, food, water and medicines to victims.
On top of the donation, a number of events will also take place. The first of which will be a mile of coins collection next Friday and Saturday (May 15 and 16) in Church Walk, Malvern.
A dicey race night will also be held on Friday, May 22, at Colwall Village Hall with all money raised directed to the Nepal Earthquake Disaster.
The rotary club has appealed to residents to support the relief work by sending money to Malvern Rotarian Paul Harris, 9 Westmere, Hanley Swan, WR8 0DG.
Cheques should be made out to ‘The Rotary Club of Malvern’.
