A TALENTED singer and trader from Ledbury has released a new song which tells the story of her life and her love for music.
New Moon Child is the latest song from Roxanne Fontana who, aside from writing songs and bringing up her children, runs her own fashion store in the Homend Mews area of the town centre called Atelier Viva Fontana 1959.
Originally from New York city, Roxanne has previously released two albums but this song is the first she has released since moving to Ledbury in February with her family.
The track is now available to download on iTunes and parts of the video were filmed in Malvern and Ledbury. Mrs Fontana told the Observer the newly-released track song had come at an exciting time for her.
“I am really happy with the way the song has come out.
“It’s a really exciting and busy time for me as I’ve got a lot going on at the moment with my new song and the shop. I don’t actually realise all the things I’ve got going until I tell people what I’m doing.
“The song is about myself and about the difference between being born on a full moon and new moon.
“I have studied astrology and Michael Jackson who was such a big major music star across the world was born on a full moon. On the other hand I was born on a new moon and have a lot of music which I feel secure about so the song and video is all about the way I am in life.
“People are buying it and I’ve been overwhelmed by some of their comments.”
