Schools in Malvern district urged to contact police if they want 'Parking Buddies' help

Malvern Editorial 4th May, 2023   0

SCHOOLS in Malvern Hills District are being urged to contact police if they want some of the new ‘parking buddies’.

The eye-catching figures are put outside schools at drop-off and collection times to remind parents to park sensibly and legally.

A few of the new School Parking Buddies – which come in the form of mini police officers –  have been delivered to local schools.

They will be with the schools for two weeks and available after that for another school to use.

There are still some buddies waiting for schools to go to.

Schools should contact the Malvern Safer Neighourhood Team if they want a pair.

They have been proven to improve parent parking and bring about more considerate driver behaviour.
