UPDATE - Man arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving following serious collision on A4103 in Storridge

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving after a man died following a serious collision on the A4103 in Storridge this morning (Monday).

West Mercia Police were called by West Midlands Ambulance Service at 7.58am to a report of a collision opposite Millbank Garage at the Cradley junction of the A4103.

The collision involved a black Renault Clio and a white Iveco lorry.

The driver of the Renault, a teenage man, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.




A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving under the influence of drink or drugs.

He remains in police custody at this time.


The road, which was closed earlier today, has now been re-opened.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the two vehicles prior to this to contact them on 101 quoting reference 72s of March 5.
