'So many acts of kindness in a difficult year' - Christmas message from the Mayor of Malvern

Malvern Editorial 24th Dec, 2020   0

2020 has been a strange year to say the least and for many, a sad and difficult one too.

But in amongst all the uncertainty and worries, there have been so many acts of kindness and charity from the people of Malvern.

We must continue to look out for each other, to call on those we know are alone and keep the lines of communication open.  By doing this, we will get through whatever the New Year brings.

The Town Council has continued to operate throughout the lockdowns and we hope that by keeping our services going, the parks and play areas tidy, and more recently erecting two Christmas trees and lights, we have helped bring some respite to you all.

Of course, we look forward to when we can hold our usual events programme again, such as Armed Forces Day, Bands in the Park and the Mayor’s Bonanza.

Whatever your plans must now be for the Christmas holidays and beyond, I wish you well and hope that 2021 will be a fresh start for us all and I look forward to when we can all meet up again in person.
