FORMER pop star and Eastenders bad boy Martin Kemp paid a recent visit to a Malvern restaurant – it has been announced on Twitter.
The 55-year-old made the visit to ‘Gallery 36’ on Belle Vue Terrace last Saturday (October 23).
The restaurant tweeted: “Thank you @realmartinkemp for visiting @gallery_36. We hope you enjoyed your lunch.”
Kemp has enjoyed a great career in both music and acting, first making his name as the bassist for 1980s pop group Spandau Ballet.
He then excited millions of soap fans in the late 1990s when he played the role of villain Steve Owen for four years on the BBC One soap.
His character was involved in some major storylines including the murder of girlfriend Saskia Duncan (see below video) and the memorable ‘Who Shot Phil’ plot.
Kemp will be in another Worcestershire town tonight (Friday) when he hosts a special An Audience with Martin Kemp show at Stourbridge Town Hall – starting at 7.30pm.
Gallery 36 opened in Malvern in August replacing the former Oliver’s Bar and is owned by married couple Matthew and Beth Cain.
